Privacy notice
This page explains, without jargon, what happens to the details you type into the contact form on this site. The site hosts a free course about how AI systems read a ryokan; there is no sales team and no mailing list behind it.
Who handles your data
The course and this site are run by an independent teacher. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the party responsible for the data described here is the operator of ai-visibilities.com. Write to hello@ai-visibilities.com with any privacy question or to act on one of your rights.
What the form collects
If you send the contact form, the following reaches me:
- Your name and email address — so a reply can be addressed and sent to you.
- What you write in the question fields: the guest query you saw, the model's answer, and a link to or excerpt from your own materials — only what you choose to paste in.
These details serve a single purpose: answering the question you sent. Nothing is added to a newsletter, and nothing is passed to third parties beyond what is strictly needed to deliver the reply. The form keeps the moment it was submitted together with a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address, used only to slow down automated abuse; the raw IP, browser fingerprints, and device metadata are never stored.
What is never collected
- No tracking cookies. The audience measurement used here is cookieless and stores no per-visitor identifier.
- No advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or marketing-automation scripts.
- No profiling and no automated decision that would have a legal effect on you.
- Your details are never sold or handed to commercial partners — that is simply not how a free course works.
Why the processing is lawful
A message sent through the form is handled under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (a step taken at your request before any agreement). The salted IP hash that guards the form against abuse rests on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in keeping the form usable).
How long it is kept
- Form messages: kept for up to 12 months so a follow-up question keeps its context, then deleted.
- IP hashes: kept for 90 days — enough to deter repeated abuse — then removed.
- Email replies: kept while the exchange is live, or 12 months after the last message, whichever comes later.
The rights you hold
The GDPR lets you ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, move it elsewhere, restrict its use, or object to the processing. Send any such request to hello@ai-visibilities.com and a reply follows within one month. If you think the handling breaks the rules, you may complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
Where the data sits
The servers behind this site are in European Union (Germany). Where a supporting service (email provider) operates outside the European Union, that transfer relies on standard contractual clauses and on the safeguards the recipient publishes.
Updates to this notice
This notice changes when the way data is handled changes in a meaningful way. The "Updated" date at the top marks the version in force.
